TIP U-5738 _DWR Andy and I talked about these. We requested the temporary impacts for site 1B and 5A as bank stabilization because we are dewatering to install the bank stabilization. As long as the impact numbers and the type (temporary vs. permanent) are the same, we’ll be fine. Regarding site 2D, we asked for permanent mechanized clearing in order to dewater the stream that flows through the wetlands. We asked for the wetland impact to be permanent because it was so small that it might be hard to ensure that its not disturbed. As long as he called it a permanent impact to the wetland, we’re also ok. If this doesn’t make sense, we can discuss on the phone. TIP U-5738) Amy, Some of the Corps impact data/descriptions in their verification are different from what is in your application. Just want to make sure we’re on the same page before I send 401 out for signature or if the Corps made some typos. Most I caught are below. Sie 1B -- 75’ for dewatering vs. bank stabilization Site 5A -- 78’ for dewatering vs. bank stabilization Site 2D – dewatering vs. mech clearing Let me know if the data you submitted are correct as requested.
