The area around the bridge is residential with a considerably forested watershead.

The purpose of the project is to replace a deteriorating and obsolete bridge(430237)on SR 1128 in Haywood County.
4i.Describe the overall project in detail,including indirect impacts and the type of equipment to be used:
Note this application is a resubmittal due to plan change and need for a DWR certification modification.
The existing bridge will be cut in half and the new bridge constructed in stages.The new bridge will require temporary dewatering,as needed,and rip rap placement at pipe outlets and
under the bridge in front of the abutments and wingwall extension.The wingwall extension and rip rap toe are the reason for the permit modification.The work will require filling of an off-
line pond and outlet channel(JS)as well.Typical heavy equipment will be used including drill rig,dump trucks,and track-hoes.
