Project Name: 2020 Earthquake Damage Sanitary Sewer Repairs Project— Phase 1
Project ID: ALLEG-2022-003
County: Alleghany
Modifications pursuant to applicable North Carolina General Statutes and/or Regulations:
1. The detailed construction sequence listed on Sheet C902 of the plans will supersede the
general construction sequence listed in the supporting materials for this project. The
supporting materials has listed a "suggested general construction sequence which the
contractor may utilize or modify as needed". Any changes to this project construction
sequence listed on the plans that effects erosion and sediment control should be discussed
with and approved by this Division before changes are implemented. [15A NCAC 04B
.0106]
2. If any area in or around the limits of disturbance for this project is within wetlands, stream
buffers, NCDOT mitigation area, or areas of concern with the Regional Water Quality
Operations Section or the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission, this project may
not commence until the erosion and sediment control plan is revised to reflect the area(s) and
approved by this Division. [15A NCAC 04B .0106]
3. Stone outlets in silt fencing should have hardware cloth tied into the steel posts to prevent

57(3)]
4. Additional measures may be required - The applicant is responsible for the control of

insufficient, the applicant must take those additional steps necessary to stop sediment from
leaving the limits of disturbance. [15A NCAC 04B .0115]
5. Please notify this office at 336-776-9800 prior to your pre -construction conference for this
