Inspection Date: 11/02/2021 Inspection Type : Compliance Evaluation Reason for Visit: Routine
Inspection Summary:
The water in the holding basins observd during the inspection were very turbid and appeared to be a dark orange color. The
DMRs on file show there have been multiple exceedances of stormwater benchamrks for both TSS and turbidity. The facility
should investigate the causes and implement a plan to reducestormwater turbidty.
Turbidity and Tier Response requirements were updated during the renewal of the NCG02 permit in July 2021. Facility
contacts should respond to the exceedances in accordance with the new permit requirements.
The Facility SWPPP should also be reviewed and updated to reflect current permit requirements.
