Dear Ms. Powell,
The Town of Lewisville had their MS4 Permit Audit on July 22, 2020 and received a Notice of Violation
(NOV) dated August 6, 2020 on August 13, 2020. 1 responded via email to you on August 101n, 2020
noting that we had received the NOV letter. Per the NOV requirements, Lewisville's Town Council
signed a Resolution on September 3rd, 2020 stating that they would support a fully funded stormwater
program. Lewisville submitted the 1s' draft of the Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP) on December
91n 2020and received draft comments back from DEQ on February 22, 2021. The comments were
addressed and a 2nd draft was submitted to DEQ on April 20, 2021. Your informal comments and
questions about the SWMP Draft 2 were made via email to me between June 28, 2021 and July 9, 2021
addressing Lewisville's reliance on Forsyth County to implement the E&SC program along with
Lewisville's position that the NCG01 cover the specific construction waste requirements.
On August 171n, Lindsey Lengyel with Blue Stream Environmental corresponded with you via email
regarding the removal of the TMDL requirements from the SWMP as Lewisville does not discharge into
the AU's listed in the Yadkin River and Muddy Creek TMDL documentation. This was confirmed by both
Cam McNutt and yourself and you noted that these SWMP changes could be made during the next
submittal which should be the Draft Final SWMP for public notice.
Lewisville's existing permit is set to expire February 19, 2022 and per the permit renewal status timeline
you sent on June 14, 2021, the new permit should become effective prior to that. If you have any
