OK! I've finally gotten to this one. It's been busy.
Worksheets check out. However, there are issues with the construction plans.
Bioretention (construction sheet 6):
Soil specifications were not included.
Depth of soil material was not specified.
Extended Detention Wetland (construction sheet 7)
The plant list does not match the wording of the planting key. It is unclear where
the "Plant List-- Sedge Community" would be planted. The labeling should be
consistent so that a landscape contractor would know what to plant and where. Woody
plant material (trees, shrubs) were not included in the planting plan list. Also,
Hemerocallis Stella D'Oro is non-native plant; natives are preferred. Please refer
to Table 12.1 of the NC DENR Stormwater BMP Manual.
