MarineMax East, Inc. —Wrightsville Beach Facility — Permit No. NCG190074
Dear Mr, Lambe:
On behalf of MarineMax East, Inc., enclosed please find completed DMRs for the monitoring
period identified above.
The facility identified herein had exceedances from the following outfalls for the following
parameters:
• SD0001: Aluminum (0.832 mg/L), Copper (0.658 mg/L), & Zinc (0.974 mg/L)
• SD0002: Aluminum (0.830 mg/L), Copper (0.638 mg/L), & Zinc (0.897 mg/L)
In response to the exceedances identified above, the facility herein shall implement the Tier I
Required Responses/Actions outlined in the NCG19 General Permit.
In addition, the permittee and lab did not sample or monitor for pH or COD due to uncertainty
with new permit coverage; training and new procedures will ensure that this is done moving
forward.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Christopher Ruhlin
