This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in NPDES WW Permit No. NCG550399. A summary of the findings and comments noted during the inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report. The Compliance Evaluation inspection was conducted by Division of Water Resources staff from the Asheville Regional Office. The components of the system were not able to be located. The owners of the system were not present, and I was not able to contact them. The previous inspection indicates that the effluent pipe is buried, the location of the septic tank is unknown, and hasn't been pumped or checked. There is no mention of a disinfection unit for this system, which is a requirement under the newest version of the General Permit NCG550000. NCG550399 17 (Cont.) Are pumps or syphons operating properly? Are high and low water alarms operating properly? The septic tank was not located during the inspection and it is unknown when it was last pumped out.
