This project flouts every single value of Durham development and would compromise one of our
treasures: the West Point on the Eno and the Eno River trail system. This development seems almost
cartoonishly bad in every way but especially environmentally and in terms of preserving history. What
was the city thinking in its first approval?
I've been in Durham 21 years and remember the stories about how the Eno was saved from Eno Drive.
love hiking throughout the system and am familiar with this area. It's important for this generation to
step up and preserve the beauty of our river for the next generation. Please halt this development.
