Flow = 173.9 GPM x 60 x 24 = 250,429 GPD Total Average Daily Flow (ADF) = 298,629 GPD Total Capacity of PS#11:545GPM/2.5=218 Avg GPM 218GPM x 60 x 24 = 313,920 Avg GPD Total ADF/ Total Average Daily Capacity = 298,629/313,920 = 95% Capacity Proposed Development: Sylvan Creek Subdivision - Proposes the construction of 118 single family 5- bedroom homes with a swimming pool and club house resulting in an average daily flow of 48,200 gallons. The sewer flow will travel via an 8" gravity sanitary sewer system to the existing Lincoln County Public Works pump station #11 that is on the Sylvan Creek Subdivision Property. The sewerage is them pumped via approximately 8,800 LF of 6" DIP force main to a manhole and then gravity flows to pump station #12. The capacity of pump station #11 and the 6" force main was recently increased to 457 GPM peak flow by increasing the size of the pumps and replacing some of the 6" force main with a 12" gravity main. The addition of the Sylvan Creek Subdivision increases the peak flow entering pump station #11 by 84.24 GPM for a total peak flow of 541.24 GPM. Our calculations show that replacing 3,779' of 6" force main with 2,449' of 10" force main and 1,330' oft?" gravity c wgr wi re uce he friction losses enough to reach a capacity of 545 GPM peak flow. The length of the replacement is from the south side of the CSX railroad r/w to the beginning of the previously installed gravity flow manhole (#110) along US Highway #16 business. There will also be a need to relocate 275 LF of 6" force main vertically due to the required grading for the subdivision construction. The wastewater will be 100% domestic type waste. 101 NORTH TRYON ST.
