This refers to the Notice of Deficiency, Tracking Number NOD — 2021-PC-0495 Permit No. WQ0013398 1. Treatment Activated Sludge — our plan is to send the supinate water into the upset pond and the sludge into the second air bay. While the basin is empty, we can clean and make repairs as needed. We use a contractors named Jack Earley and Tony Rogers. Both men have extensive experience in electrical systems and metal and pipe fabrication and repairs. After we inspect and make repairs on one basin, we plan to switch the procedure and do the other basin. Timetable for this is first or second quarter of 2022. 2. Treatment Barscreen --our plan is to approve the estimate 1010, dated 10/07/2021 for lack Earley and Earley Electrical Services to replace four electric junction boxes, including the splitter box. I have attached his estimate. Timetable for this is for first quarter of 2022. 3. Treatment Filters —Operator Sunny Wright informs me that we do manual backwash functions everyday at the plant. Sunny and our contractors will be inspecting the basins when they are emptied during the procedure noted in #1. Media Replacement will be done by Long's Septic, and I have attached his proposal dated 10/27/2021 Timetable for this is for second quarter of 2022 4. Treatment Influent Pump --our contractor Jack Earley has installed telemetry on the influent pump station and on the main plant pump. He is working on the breaker boxes this week and next. The exposed junction boxes will be replaced per #2 above— see Early Electric estimate 1010. We have purchased a new electric panel for the main plant, and a new panel for the lift station at the main plant. We have purchased a mobile generator. I am working with a contractor to get a quote on new stainless -steel rails for the basins. I will be sending out a review of proper toilet and wastewater disposal and a notice about the non -potable water used in irrigating the spray fields (the Bay Golf Course 9 holes) in the next billing cycle -January 2020. We have cut back vegetation on the back side of the plant to prevent debris falling into any basins. We are hiring a pond maintenance engineer to cut back vegetation near the irrigation pond to prevent debris and pine straw from falling into the pond. Contractor and repair delays have been caused by difficulties in getting parts. Our repair schedules coincide with our revenue schedule. We have two groups of customers. The Condo Association of 312 owners pay their fee to us every month thru their Management company. The 483 single family home owners pay us from a quarterly billing we do. So our cash flow and payment for repairs is sensitive to these schedules. We are working hard to make the Plant more efficient. We have an excellent record of consistent compliance.
