I am am opposed to the Westpoint development that is proposed on Black Meadow Ridge for the following
reasons:
The Eno River is a cherished natural resource for our community and my family — One of our daughter's
specifically chose the Eno State Park for her outdoor winter wedding.
The Westpoint development threatens the health of the river, the fragile organisms that depend on it, and the
Triangle's drinking water quality.
Development on this site jeopardizes the natural beauty and character of West Point on the Eno Park, a place
beloved by the many volunteers and participants of the Eno River Festival, the annual event that celebrates the
river and raises further conservation funds.
The residents who would be impacted by this development on a daily basis have expressed their disapproval of
this plan. I ask you to weigh these comments, reflect on the impacts of this development, require a higher level of
review including a public hearing, before granting the developers a permit.
