The Eno River is one of the best parts of Durham and one of the only preserved nature areas close to the city. To
build upon West Point would be a ecological travesty and would take away one of the most sacred parts of our
home. We have developed this region largely without sustainability in mind and we don't need another
thoughtless development project to irreversibly destroy the delicate balance of the ecosystem that is preserved
at the Eno. Furthermore, this would have a negative health impact on the flora and fauna that rely on this
environment as well as the thousands of people that regularly visit the Eno for their own mental and physical
health. Please do not build at West Point, I'm begging you.
