I'm 56 yrs., born & raised in Durham, I attended UNC-Chapel Hill, a veteran, worked in corrections, health care
as a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 8 yrs., presently a substitute teachers, lived in Georgia from 2008-2017
and Los -Angeles from 2017-2020. I was homeless in Georgia and Los -Angeles. I have seen how they treat
people in California & Georgia for wealth & profits. The water in California is poisonous and the ecosystem is
about to become a big sinkhole because of the climate and overpopulation of people. And, Georgia always had
issue with their water levels, i.e. shortages. They made people systemic homeless in Los -Angeles for housing
purposes. And now, the same kind of people want to come to my city and destruct our vegetation & water to
CAPITALIZE ON THE MIGRATION OF THE VERY PEOPLE WHO DESTROYED LOS-ANGELES & FLORIDA,
AND NOW,THEY ALL ARE MOVING TO NORTH CAROLINA TO OVERPOPULATE AND DESTROY OUR
GREENERY & WATER. They develops don't care that we love and care for our health living and landscape. Tell
them to build in other places like Roxboro, Creedmoor, etc. but not here. And, they are trying to build 200
townhouse on Latta/Guess RD. I say no to that too. Building a Publix there would take jobs and customers from
the 2 Food Lions( 1 on Roxboro Rd. and 1 on Guess Rd.) that Flank that area. They, already, are having
problems with hiring for those 2 grocery stores, thus to build a Publix there lead to increased unemployment in
that area.
