Eno River is a beautiful forest ecosystem that should be protected at all costs. As someone who works for the
federal government at the intersection of global health and the environment, I see how across the state, country,
and world - we are destroying these remaining pieces of nature through a death by a million cuts. Protection of
wetlands are absolutely critical to the health of the local ecosystem, and that should not be jeopardized for the
greed of new development. This project would devastate habitats, exacerbate stormwater flooding, disturb
federally mapped wetlands, and degrade the region's key watershed that flows into Falls Lake - I urge you to
please decline this permit and protect this land.
