I am very strongly opposed to the Westpoint development and their permit application!
I believe that a Public Hearing should be required for this development. There are still too many unanswered
questions, and there is too much at risk to the quality of life of people and wildlife in Durham to allow this project
to go forward without intense scrutiny of ALL its impacts.
I agree that more affordable housing is critical to the Durham area, but not at the cost of the invaluable treasure
to the Durham area that is Eno State Park.
