I am against this project because I do not believe it is in the best interest of Durham residents. This project
guarantees the removal acres of Durham's foilege to create apartments that are not guaranteed to go to current
residents of the city that are struggling to find affordable rent or pay for rent in their current apartments and
townhomes. With the housing issues in Raliegh currently it is almost certain that these new townhomes will
simply go to Raliegh residents looking to escape their city. This leaves Durhamites paying the bill, in this case
with our forest, to fix Raliegh residents issues.
