lam opposed to the Westpoint development and their permit application. As a citizen of Durham who visits West
Point on the Zeno frequently, 1 have significant concerns about the impact that this will have on the park and the
surrounding environment. Access to such a pristine piece of nature so close to downtown is a privilege, and 1
believe we should be good stewards of this environment and not take it for granted. This is a project that should
be deemed to have a significant public impact and likely needs greater oversight through a different permit type
and higher level of review. 1 believe a Public Hearing should be required for this development.
