I am opposed to the Westpoint development and its permit application because it is clearly careless and harmful
to the ecosystems involved. The assessments do not reflect the development's actual impacts on public water
quality. Both living ecosystems and everyday citizens are harmed by the manipulation of this environment and
water supply.
That this has not been put under scrutiny is alarming and irresponsible on behalf of a city that claims to uphold
high health standards and follow regulations....A Public Hearing should be required. It should be honestly
provided with clear and legible accessibility so that people are making informed and not coerced decisions.
Further detail should be equally accessible from the perspective of opponents as well.
Save Black Meadow Ridge has outlined clear and well informed outlines and has raised important criticisms
regarding this development. I believe each point raised by this group should inspire more thorough investigation
by developers and proper public assessment.
This is project bears significant impact on public life that needs to be taken seriously. It would benefit from a
stronger review and reassessment of the permit use.
