Committee Members,
The proposed project does not make clear the potential, and likely, environmental and human impacts of this
development. There is not publicly available assessment of the environmental impact of clearing this property on
the watershed or water quality. Given the Eno River's place in Durham's plans for supplying drinking water, it is
necessary and prudent to seek expert insight into the consequences of this potential development.
Further, this project also deserves a public hearing before further considerations are granted to the developer.
Thank you for considering how these concerns should be addressed in your processes and in public.
