Please pick the response below that represents your stance on the above mentioned project?* Yes - I agree with the project. No - I do not agree with the project. Comment I object to this development project on the basis that it will not positively impact Durham or its residents. That particular area of the Eno is prone to flooding, made all the worse by surrounding development. Durham itself experiences terrible flooding during wet spring and fall months. The natural landscape keeps the ecosystem intact and without that natural barrier the water system will fall further victim to further pollution. The Eno is constantly under threat of pollution and Durham's water quality is made worse because of it. Durham has enough housing within the city limits. Building additional, more expensive housing along a national forest will create a barrier to entry. The city cannot currently fill all of its expensive housing vacancies and this project is purely a cash -grab for the benefit of the developer. The Eno River State Park is one of Durham's crown jewels, loved by all ages. Why should a select housing development take priority over the desire of Durham's residents?
