The Eno River is a valuable resource and we should be protecting land near and around it at all costs. Westpoint
is an area in which I frequently photograph families and couples and it is a peaceful way for the community to
connect to the beautiful nature that the Eno River supplies. As a member of this community, the loss of this land
to townhouses will be irreplaceable and severely damaging. There is also a large amount of native plants in this
area including oak trees. Oak trees support >5,000 species of Lepidoptera (caterpillars for moths and butterflies)
and clearing any of these native plants will severely limit our native birds and wildlife (which eventually effects
even us humans). We need to make smarter decisions about our future on this planet.
