PLEASE do not move forward with this project without a public hearing! This important area is already recovering
from human interference (sewar pipe replacement, erosion, etc), and the community clearly values the natural
area.
I agree with the many concerns brought to light by the Save Black Meadow Ridge group. I believe each point
being raised by this group needs more thorough investigation, and I would appreciate a response that reflects
the vetting of those concerns.
We should be dedicating resources to maintaining the natural area and the biodiversity, not introducing more
stressors to the environment.
I understand the need for more housing as Durham grows rapidly, but it places like Westpoint that make Durham
such an amazing place to live. Disrupting the Eno further is not worth it for a relatively small number of housing
units.
