I am strongly opposed to the "Westpoint" development as proposed; therefore, I believe permit application
#20210224 should not be granted. I do not think this project (or permit) is in the interest of current or future
Durham residents or the environment; I believe a Public Hearing should be required before allowing this
development or any other development impacting Eno River State Park's environment, including impacts on
water quality and public use. I do not believe the permit applicants appreciate how committed Durham residents
are to protecting Eno River State Park's natural environment and history; a Public Hearing could help inform
them, and any future permit application could take better care to address these urgent concerns.
