Comment Thank you for taking public comments. This development is bad for Durham and bad for the Eno River. The assessments that have been done do not accurately reflect the impact of this development on the Eno River, the watershed, the surrounding ecosystem, and the surrounding neighborhoods, as well as the city part, West Point on the Eno. I think it is sad that no public hearing has been held, and that should be remedied immediately. I have are important concerns related to flooding in the surrounding neighborhoods, as well as on Roxboro Road, a major thoroughfare nearby, as well as to impacts on the water quality of the Eno River (which flows into Falls Lake, which supplies drinking water for Wake County). I also have strong concerns about the impact on the West Point on the Eno park, as well as on the ecosystem as a whole. Save Black Meadow Ridge's concerns are important ones that warrant urgent and immediate consideration and investigation. Investigation means being thorough -- holding a public hearing, talking to citizens, talking to neighbors -- not just hearing from the developer.
