This project will erect the largest number of dwellings along any stretch of the Eno River, without any buffer to
the existing West Point on the Eno park. There are so many potential damages created by this overbuilding that
this project calls for an open public hearing, not a slam-dunk approval. First, there are clearly issues with 401
Individual Clean Water Act permit disturbances. There are potential endangered species alarms. Second, there
are issues with the preservation of open space in Durham County and the historic significance of the adjacent
County park. None of the many issues have been adequately addressed.
I petition you to open this project up to more public comment.
