I share Save Black Meadow Ridge's opposition to this project. Their summary:
Based on the general environmental impacts and human environment impacts, the impacts to the Endangered
Species and their habitat, the impact to the Historic Site of West Point on Eno, and the already documented
large public opposition - it is believed the the Division of Water Resources and US Army Corps of Engineers
should review and reject the application as it proposed. A further look into the permit type required should be
considered by the USACE, and a Public Hearing should be required from the Division of Water Resources.
