I am a regular hiker on the Eno and this treasure must be protected. Increasing number of residents use the Eno
for physical and mental health. The application should be denied because it:
- omits how the development has negative impacts on water quality, specifically Durham's drinking water
- ignores public safety concerns about direct human contact with water/runoff from the development
- contains incomplete, conflicting, and/or incorrect information
- omits how the development negatively impacts threatened and endangered species and their habitat
- does not account for how the development negatively impacts historic sites
- applies for the wrong Permit type - based on impacts, public Interest, and appreciable opposition
