The Eno River is a beautiful natural area and not only will they be tearing down 60 acres of trees for an
unnecessary establishment but ruining the surrounding eco system as well. "This construction will impact the
surrounding streams, stream buffers, and wetlands" which are some of THE MOST beautiful parts of North
Carolina. I cannot stress this enough. I grew up in NC floating down the Eno River or playing in the waterfall.
Having all of this beautiful natural landscape just for homes and unneeded shopping malls/retail is ridiculous.
There are plenty of other places to put a compound such as this without ruining something that makes North
Carolina what it is. I truly do hope the North Carolina Board of Water Resources and Environmental Quality
choose not to allow this development to be built. These are the types of environments we should strive to
preserve as the Earth becomes more crowded and developed, not let corporations ruin with buildings that exist
everywhere. Thank you for reading my comment and I truly hope the Board decides to not let this development
be built.
