Hello,
I have owned a house in Durham since 2017 and love that I can be at the Eno in less than 10 minutes. This is a
special place that brings a much -needed breath of fresh air (especially in the chaos of the last two years!) to so
many people's lives. I am very concerned about the way the Westpoint development will impact this space and
all the wildlife that lives there. The assessments on the application do not reflect the true impact this project will
have on water (Durham already has questionable drinking water) and endangered species. I believe there
should be a public hearing required for this development because it is not in the best interest of Durham
residents, the creatures we share space with, or the environment. I know myself, my family, and my community
share the concerns raised by the Save Black Meadow Ridge group and urge you to investigate the impacts of
this project further. I look forward to your reply.
