I would like to formally state my frustration with this plan and the way this company has gone about it; seemingly
uncaring of the fact that this could impact anyone negatively in the area. The fact that we could even think its ok
to take any part of West Point on the Eno park and use it for a private company's monetary gain and ruin the
local beauty baffles me.
Also just talking about the plan itself would create even more congestion on an already very congested (and
soon to be even worse road because of the improved high school location) Roxboro and Guess Road, with no
real plan in place to help. While the development may be good for the company and Durham City, it should not
be located where it is; just drive 10 minutes north of that area and you'll find unused farmland that needs
development. I truly hope those reading these comments want to look out for the public interests of the City, and
will look into the issues being raised. I'm no expert but I know using the land where it is proposed will hurt our
community.
