I am opposed to the Westpoint development and their permit application. Why is it necessary to build on one of
our county's important watersheds? Hasn't anything been learned about the terrible impacts to the environment
and wildlife through development along other waterways, such as Ellerbee Creek? The development will
obviously create more residential units but — as currently planned — the development is certainly not in the larger
public's interest. Our community needs protected parks, watersheds, and natural environments. This project
needs to be completely rethought, relocated, or denied.
