I am opposed to the Westpoint development and their Permit application for the following reasons.
Due to the above reasons we believe the permit type the Westpoint developer applied for needs review from the
US Army Corps of Engineers, along with additional oversight and impact assessments. We are requesting a
public hearing from the Division of Water Resources per code: 15A NCAC .02H .0503
This project will negatively impact the safety of many Durham residents and their rights to clean drinking water.
This project is not good for the environment either, and could cause erosion and threaten already endangered
species.
