To whom it may concern,
Hi,
I am opposed to the Westpoint development proposed on Black Meadow Ridge for the following reasons:
- - The Eno River is a cherished natural resource and enjoyed by many residents in the Durham area. The
Westpoint development threatens the health of the river and the fragile organisms that depend on it.
- - Development this close to the river threatens water quality for the citizens that rely on the Eno and Falls Lake
for drinking water.
- - This particular site jeopardizes the character and visual elements of West Point on the Eno Park, a place
beloved by residents and the site for many school trips, the Eno River Festival, and other educational and civic
events.
I hope that you will weigh these facts and require a public hearing and a higher level of review before granting
the developers a permit.
