I do not believe that there should be homes built on the sacred land of West Point. This location has been a
fixture for many gatherings, celebrations, and explorations for so many. I used to attend the West Point on the
eno festival every year with my godmother, and it was such an important part of my youth - let's avoid taking
away another free, beautiful, green space from the next generation. Housing developments will destroy the
ecosystem and the water quality. While I understand that Durham is growing quickly, we can't give up this
important space, especially with glitter change happening so rapidly. I urge you to halt further developments on
this land and consider a different location.
