Majority of the treated wastewater from the City of Kinston is discharged through the City of Kinston's NPDES permit NC0024236. Swindell Flowers is the ORC with Kenneth Stevens as the Backup ORC. In some areas the cover crop is dead. The facility is currently looking at replacing all the hardwood trees with Pine trees.
