The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the Johnnie Mosley Regional
WRF on 10/05/2021. This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance
with the conditions and limitations specified in Non -discharge Permit No. WQ0029289. The findings and
comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report
entitled ''Compliance Inspection Report".

Inspection Summary:
The review period for this inspection was December 2019 through July 2021. Majority of the treated wastewater from the City
of Kinston is discharged through the City of Kinston's NPDES permit NC0024236.
Swindell Flowers is the ORC with Kenneth Stevens as the Backup ORC.
In some areas the cover crop is dead. The facility is currently looking at replacing all the hardwood trees with Pine trees.
