i do not agree with this development and think a public hearing should be required. destroying acres of land to
hold hundreds of houses seems like it would negatively impact the surrounding community. from environmental
concerns like pollution, deforestation, drinking water quality, to other community problems such as increased
traffic, less natural lands which equals less quality of life, job competition, housing inequality and inequity...this
development has too many potential problems. i think if allowed to move forward, this project would ignite
protests from all community members and would cause too many issues in durham, without attempting to
improve the city. wouldn't it make more sense if developments were only approved if they went above and
beyond to ensure each project was making durham a better place to live and not worse?
