I do not agree that the Westpoint development should move forward or receive a permit.
The assessments provided don't demonstrate the full impact from the 401 Individual Clean Water Act Permit
disturbances. This project and permit is not likely to benefit the environment, or the people of Durham who want
more affordable housing and to protect our natural resources as much as possible.
I believe a Public Hearing should be required for this development.
The Save Black Meadow Ridge group has raised many concerns that I agree with. Please respond to their
concerns and conduct more investigation into them.
This project will clearly have a significant impact on the area and needs additional oversight and review in order
to be properly managed and assessed.
