I believe that given all the threats the proposed project poses to the Eno River and Falls Lake watersheds,
specifically the threat to our quality of drinking water, further review should take place before granting the permits
needed to move forward. I also think the noise pollution that the high density housing will present will be a terribly
regrettable imposition on the West Point on the Eno park. Spaces within city limits to find solace among the trees
and waters and flora and fauna of Durham are sacred and should be protected as such. There should also be a
public hearing, giving the people of Durham the change to speak for themselves and what they consider to be
their public interest.
