The Compliance Evaluation Inspection was conducted by Mark Brantley, Environmental Senior Specialist, of the Fayetteville Regional Office. The cooperation of Mr. Dennis Freeman, Facility ORC, Mr. Kevin Taylor, Facility Operator, and Mr. Johnny Britt, Part Time Consultant, was greatly appreciated. The facility was found to be in Compliance with permit NC0086550. As a reminder, preservation of the Waters of the State can only be achieved through consistent NPDES Permit compliance. Comments • Facility was clean and neat in appearance at the time of the inspection. o Maintenance records, ORC log books, and laboratory records appeared to be in order at the time of the inspection. o At clarifier number 1 it was noted that there is a hole in the baffle wall that is allowing water to go under the baffle and the weir plate instead of over them. Operations staff is unable to repair it at this time due to high flows from the recent wet weather. The staff does have plans to repair it as soon as the flow returns to normal levels.
