As a long time Durham resident and visitor of West Point on the Eno, I believe this housing development would
be bad for Durham, for the Eno River, and for West Point on the Eno city park. The last thing we need in the
middle of a global climate crisis is MORE destruction of the natural world for capitalist gain. Yes Durham needs
more housing, but that housing does NOT need to be developed at the destruction of the forest - habitat to
thousands of plants and animals, and refuge to people of Durham and beyond to swim and enjoy nature in
community with each other. Please, do all you can to halt this project.
