I am opposed to the Westpoint development and their permit application. The assessments doesn't seem to
reflect the true picture of the development's impacts and the impacts from the 401 Individual Clean Water Act
Permit disturbances. This project and it's current permit aren't in the Public Interest of Durham residents or the
environment- and I believe a Public Hearing should be required for this development.
This project will have a significant impact on the public, and therefore needs greater investigation and oversight.
The threat to clean water, the environment, and the public is unacceptable and worrisome. Especially since this
is taking place on a keystone watershed preservation area.
I don't like how the developer cleared 70,000 square feet of forest without a permit. I don't like how because of
outdated documents, the residents of Durham haven't had a say. I don't like how this project will add more
pressure to the already apt -to -flood -Eno. The public needs to give their input on this project.
