I oppose this project because I do not think development along the West Point park and Eno river is in the best
interest of the inhabitants of the surrounding area - including humans, animals and plants that live along the
proposed development site. Removing vegetation from this area and replacing it with hard surfaces will result in
numerous detrimental effects caused by pollution and runoff into the river and surrounding floodplain. This
project will have a broad impact to Durham's drinking and recreational areas and I believe the project deserves
further consideration and a public hearing.
