Please review the information attached and let me know if it looks okay. The ownership has been separately designated
for now. If I understand correctly, this means each plant will require a separate eDMR registration process (rather than
one registration that is tied to two permits, as we would normally do it for one Permittee Organization). Suzanne McCoy
may be helping us with those temporarily until a replacement is hired, but I don't have an update on that.
Again, this could prompt a directive to consolidate the ownership down the road if there are issues with eDMR reporting
for these permits, but we'll proceed with separate owners per your request for now.

I have discussed with Suzanne, and we can try this:
We can update the name of the 502 Building Owner Organization to "Unison Engine Components Inc — Building 502 -
CMC"
And keep the Owner -Owner affiliation/Legally Responsible person as Loren Finnerty (already associated)
We can then create a different Owner Organization as "Unison Engine Components Inc — Building 401- Rotating Parts"
And establish a different Owner -Owner affiliation/Legally Responsible person (please let me know whom, with mailing
address, phone, and email)
In the file we have Michael Meguiar, but I'm not sure if that's current.
With Mailing Address as 401 Sweeten Creek Industrial Park Road, Asheville, 28803
And attach the 401 Building facility to this "new" Owner instead.
Please let me know if this is how you want to proceed.

I cannot promise that questions or an issue about this split won't arise in the future — we are strongly discouraged from
splitting up owners like this for plants under the same umbrella leadership, particularly for eDMR purposes. If there are
ever wastewater permits under yet a different name for the same site(s), we will have a bigger problem, so it's
important to let us know about any of those.
Once I do that, I can run a permit summary report tomorrow to send you a confirmation.

I can help with the update in our permitting database when Unison Engine decides who it wants the Owner -Owner
affiliation for these sites to be. I am not in a position to advise on whom the company should designate. Both of these
sites have the same Owner in our system, so the legally responsible person must be common between them. We don't
have an alternative to that structure with an Owner entity, unfortunately. As Suzanne said, we are attempting to change
the target of our communication to permit -specific contacts in the future.

Thanks for reaching out. Our two sites have very different reporting structures. Therefore, Chris and Loren report to
different people at the corporate level. We will need to discuss internally how to handle this and will let you know.
As far as "a distinguishing number or adjective for others to be able to tell the difference between the two", we use
"Building 401— Rotating Parts" for the 401 Sweeten Creek Industrial Park Road address and "Building 502 — CMC" for
the 502 Sweeten Creek Industrial Park Road address.

The manner in which our database is set up is:
Owner/Owner Affiliation = Unison Engine Components/corporate person the facility leads report to
Facility Contact = Chris Lane is responsible for NCG030543 401 Sweeten Creek Industrial Park Road
Facility Contact = Loren Finnerty is responsible for NCG030685 502 Sweeten Creek Industrial Park Road
Permit Contact = Chris Lane is responsible for NCG030543 401 Sweeten Creek Industrial Park Road
Permit Contact = Loren Finnerty is responsible for NCG030685 502 Sweeten Creek Industrial Park Road
Because of how the underlying database communicates with the eDMR software there should only be one Owner record
in the database. An Owner may have several Facilities and Permits associated with them.
Please reference the chart in the Six Step Process for eDMR.
Attached is the Owner Verification report for Unison. I believe you or someone that Chris and Loren report to should be
the Responsible Official (Owner Affiliation). These terms are synonymous with each other.
I've also attached the Stormwater Permit Summary Reports to help with visualizing the database structure.
I would like to request that the facility names include a distinguishing number or adjective for others to be able to tell
the difference between the two.
I appreciate your assistance and understanding in sorting this out.
I have looped in our General Permits Coordinator and legacy knowledge person to keep them on the same page.
