On August 12, 2013, Carolina Wetland Services, Inc. (CWS)submitted an application for Water Quality Certification
for the Town of Fairview Pond Project in Fairview, NC(DWQ Project No. 13-0896). Based on discussions with the
USACE and DWQ changes have been made to the project to avoid impacts to jurisdictional waters of the U.S.
Therefore, on behalf of our client, The Town of Fairview, CWS respectfully requests that our application for water
quality certification be withdrawn.
