I am opposed to the Westpoint development and their permit application as this construction will greatly impact
the surrounding streams, buffers, wildlife habitats and wetlands. Also, the assessments as stated do not reflect a
true picture of the development's negative impacts and the harmful impacts from the 401 Individual Clean Water
Act Permit disturbances.
I believe the Division of Water Resources and the US Army Corps of Engineers should review and reject the
permit application as proposed. I also believe a Public Hearing should be required from the Division of Water
Resources as there is public opposition to the Westpoint development and citizens' heightened awareness that
this development is not in the public interest given its immediate proximity to the Eno River water basin and West
Point on the Eno historical sites.
