I am deeply concerned about the environmental impacts of this project, both because of potential impacts on
Durham's drinking water and impacts on wildlife. I also oppose the destruction/degradation of one of the few
natural, "wild," and freely accessible spaces within our city that will result from this project. It seems clear that the
developers have assumed they could go headlong into this project without proper review (already clearing trees
illegally, apparently). This project does not serve the interests of our community.
