As a resident of North Durham, I am extremely, extremely opposed to the Westpoint development and their
permit application. This application, riddled with errors and inaccuracies, does not reflect the negative impacts
this development will have on our city, county, and surrounding areas - and this development does nothing but
harm for Durham's longterm environmental health. The Westpoint development will have exceptionally
detrimental affects on Durham's drinking water, wetlands and watershed; endangered and lower risk wildlife and
their habitat; and will cause water pollution and runoff downstream that will pollute one of our most crucial
sources of clean water. Density is necessary for Durham's future - the creation of too -dense, poorly -planned
developments in crucial environmental ecosystems are not.
