Please pick the response below that represents your stance on the above mentioned project?* Yes - I agree with the project. No - I do not agree with the project. Comment The project will result in the clear cutting of of 61 acres and replacing it with 70% impervious surface. This will significantly increase storm water runoff into the Eno state park, West Point on the Eno Park, and the Eno River. The infrastructure in this area can not support the increase in population and traffic that would be caused by the development. Roxboro Road is already suffers from heavy traffic at rush hour. The increased traffic from the development will impact the new Norther High School that is being build on Roxboro Road. School bus, auto, and pedestrian traffic from the school will be adversely affected by the increased traffic from the development. The disturbance caused by the construction of the development will result in major disruption of water quality in the Eno River. Heavy rains will overcome any efforts the developer attempts to minimize storm water flows from the construction process into the Eno River. The presence of the large amount of impervious surface form the project will increase the chance of and damage from flooding in the area near the development --especially West Point Park and the mill on the Eno River. Blasting proposed for the project can have unknow impact on the water flows in the area. For example, blasting necessary to install water and sewer in the Pine Valley development, eliminated several small streams.
