. Phillip Schroeder phone. FRO concerning an aquatic• toxicity failure at the Parkton
WWTP for the month of October. The cause for the failure was probably the 3.0
mg/L chlorine that the aq. tox. lab. reported for one of the two samples., The
high chlorine was a result of the following: the.sample tubing was placed before
dechlorination,` and the automatic chlorine feed system was taken
offline(malfunctioning), and manual.feed adjusted/set for anticipated nighttime low
' flow. The chlorine readings taken by the POTW were 0.4 mg/L on Tuesday,.and 0.6
mg/L on Friday during the time -of the aq. tox. sampling week.
